First of All with permission and Support of AIA Surety Clint Pringle who is a Awesome person to work with extremely professional and very Knowledgeable funny and will joke with you or shoot the bull and without his help this blog entry couldn't even have been wrote, because of his Support and Recommendation to another Surety after they were unfortunately un able to approve me by my self under them.
But because, I showed professionalism, he liked the way I operate and had a very good feeling of me, Clint Pringle went out of his way and referred me to a Wonderful GA who does not even represent AIA but who, he recommended me to and even called him set it all up. originally my GA Manager was referred by AIA Clint Pringle because of unable to approve him years ago under AIA and being they knew each other he helped him become a massavie 7 Operation Company.
I do regret, I could not work with AIA and in future when I obtain more of what they need and require Clint Pringle will be the Man to contact and the first one I will contact.
I really want to dedicate this Entire Post To AIA Surety and Clint Pringle.

Ohh man I can tell you That it has been beyond, been busy for me.
I've been working day and night filling out financial papers, contracts, talking to people, traveling back and forth VA, parts of MD, Delaware, and PA, going over new contracts, last night, I got home at 2am and for past 3 and half week's was leaving at 6am getting home around 10pm and later.
Its been extremely long and exhausting on me, but has been more then worth it.
But the Bond's have been slow, turned down 8 people this month, someone else can do them not me, I'm extremely cautious and If I feel there not going to show or its going take me 3 years to get my money owed on the Bond's, I don't do them.
I'm not going into depth at moment on this, later I will I'm extremely tired and wore out and have been working on this blog entry since Friday about hit up waffle house, I'm Starving to.
But first I would like to add

I'm in talk's and in Trial process of trying several server based Bail Software programs, that Would Greatly benefit my company J24BAIL they will allow us to run live check's on all Applicant's from any Internet connected PC & verify if CC if used it's not stolen or lost this will also allow us to see if the Info you gave us is real with your real name address and Info. all of this Included in $200 Month service fee

11. The new GA offers us great discount's on marketing material shirts &15 piece and pens $1000 for $300, Curently I pay arm and leg for my shirt's $15 to $25 a Piece at moment and pens not so great $ 500 for $650

I have been in talks with possable loans and I am seriously looking into a office in Towson prime area mid in between Harford, Baltimore City, Glen Burnie and other surrounding areas, Possibly maybe Glen Burnie again, although hesitant there, had office 6 months only did 2 Bonds by walk-ins and several by on call from Home that's why I no longer operate out of office why pay $1300 a month if your not making money and old GA almost Bankrupt me being so strict. Now the new GA's give the freedom, I need and I have expanded to what Ive been working Towards for past 7 years, maybe it's time to look into a new office and get full time employee to handle all calls have not decided yet don't want jump into to much I will go Broke again but I may soon will keep you updated.

At first they were eager but now take it as Joke & who were starting to make me feel un easy about them and not Trust them, and after catching a few in simple lies one I'm very sneaky and cautious at all times I sent them to lawyers to solicit process serves a few of them, I sent them to are my own lawyers and were expecting them but they never showed, but lied to my face told me they passed out card's and talked to the lawyer's.
( I do not put up with this if you want work, want to learn a closed trade, I will give you work and the tools & knowledge My Patience and Time, but be prepared to put in just as much if not more effort as I do)
If your not reliable you can't keep a cell and don't answer your phone when I call at anytime, I will work with your schedule if you have a job but the times you tell me your available be available , if you don't like I disapprove 75 percent of the referrals you give me for Bonds

From Number 10. By using the server Based Bail Bond software would be a majore headache off of me allows my agent's to make more Decisions without me using all the Information on contract & being just as cautious as I am, being it's sever based, I can control and Monitor from any location all agent's.

This now will allow me to relax a little and maybe go on vacation which is much needed, this Business is very stressful and gives me severe headaches at times.
J24BAiL has always had the capabilities to do Transfer Bond's but under our old GA they charged me 20 to 25 percent my Profit was less than a Point , under my new GA half that and Profit is 60 Percent.
To this day could never get one approved and I lost a 600.000 dollar Bond mid of this Month for refusal of approval with full cash and 2 house's with deeds put up one worth 3.8 million the other 6.9 million father is a Doctor son was arrested for first degree murder, stabbing a guy to death.

Had we of gotten it regardless of if they showed or not I was covered and would of bought my Mom a new house and got rid of her Old, sorry Mom thank my Old GA the new GA told them about it they would of Approved.

Because of these actions and numerous other, most Importantly my old GA was very unreliable and did not give me full Authority to run my company as I pleased, needed to expand and become much bigger up here in Maryland, once I had 5 Bonds last year same person in MD 2 for PA in York all were going be Paid in full 10 percent and collateral held, because my Old GA disapproved the Transfer Bonds in PA, the Indemnitor decided to do none of the Bond's
I respect that and do not Blame them.
My Old GA was always scrutinized in the world of Bail Bonds and among all GA's for there old Practices and considering the father and Old Owner served Jail time for many extortion and drug charges Now currently as of 4/1/10 the son and current owner same charges and convection by FBI with many years in jail. The GA could possibly be shut down or another will take over, being there Backed by a major Surety in Texas and the Liability of complete shutdown would be to Great someone will take it over.
Now I know what your saying herd it from others and several Bondsman wait I called you and you refused me but you have No Liability why should you care, why Because it's very unprofessional and I left to start my own to change those old practices, by these wahoos out Here, 2 by not doing the bad Bond's I was giving a High Recommendation by my Old GA to several other GA's and Surety companies and to have this is to me is a Great Honor and well worth it
Now no one needs to worry because it does not Affect you Your all paid up to this date no one owes J24BAIL, and all paper work, confidential paper's is with me in my Office secured and lock away, MD requires you to keep records for 3 years, I keep them Indefinitely.
I would like to say I hate to see them go despite there at times usually after closing 6pm
They were Un reliable and Because of my contract every Bond I did had to be approve even 100 dollar bond, But they allowed me to get my foot in the door and become much bigger company in Maryland.
To this date they are the only GA who serves MD that is whats called Non-Liable in other words if you skip, I am not responsible , if Bounty Hunting needs to be done or someone needs to be sued they handled all that with the surety in TX. Despite that.
I have never Burned them I didn't Bail just anyone out I kept all paperwork and when someone did skip or any legal proceeding's, I handled them myself and out of pocket, and belive me later I found them and turned them in to Maryland.
Because of this my old GA highly recommended me and gave a written recommendation for other GA's and Surety's and renewed my contract with them for another 5 years if shut down I will be transferred to a NC GA for them, who handles MD as told by Surety in TX.
I will keep them for any Bonds I feel shaky on.
Now as I said We now have several Ga's but all are Liable except the old GA and I have substantial amount of Property put up & Money, and could lose it if I write Bad Bonds or to many People skip, so be fair warned you Get Ass Kicking when, I hunt you down, that's a Joke by the way
No in reality and being serious I will run and treat my Business the same in Professional Manor, I have but will access what GA to use for different Bonds, does not Affect you

Transfer Bonds
When someone from another state is arrested and charged with a crime, they will be held in the state they were arrested. This makes it very difficult for family members or friends to post the bond. To jump bail, or skip bail, FTA is a legal idiom in which a person who has posted bail and been released on bail subsequently fails to appear in criminal court with the intention of avoiding prosecution, sentencing or imprisonment. One of the Nice things of having a Reputable Surety company is having the ability when all your guys are tied up to pay another Bondsman who represents the Surety and is able to post Bond's for you and several others under the Surety, Instead of refusing the Bond's you can call them up to post them for you and meet with Indemnitor to get paperwork done of course they charge a fee but it's well worth it allows for Faster and Smoother Bond process for booth J24BAIL & the client's.
I have not gotten my major blog up yet that, I have wanted to Post that goes more into this and I have been working on since Thur last week, some of my content had to be approved before I could post but hopping to post that one Sunday or Monday have to finish tweaking the spelling and wording and all
I was given a Call Early Thursday at 2:30am ( I answer my phone 24/7 and if Busy you can text leave a message I will get right back to you )for a Bond in Baltimore City for Assault Second Degree for a Mr. Jenkin, The Indim Mrs Johnson had thought he had already seen the Commissioner and mentioned to me a 2500 dollar Bond, but after verifying with Baltimore City Intake after 2 Hours of Non stop trying to get a real person calling that the Defendant has not seen the commissioner & No Bond is set yet, I Immediately called Mrs. Johnson back let her know what was going on and until we know what his Bond is all we can do is wait.
She told me he was arrested at 7pm and I was told by Intake they didn't have him in system yet he's still sitting here,
(This is very common in Baltimore City they have one of the Most difficult bail release Procedures in the State of Maryland under the new law they have 24 Hours to process you and get you to a commissioner or they have to let you walk.
I have seen Murder's walk that I was awaiting to do Bond's for & after you see the commissioner then they legally have I believe 72 or 74 Hours before they have to release you but usually the average time is 4 to 18 hours ( Not sure on the 72 or 74 been told booth by different Intake officer's they have there own Rules and Laws)
At J24BAIL we strive and encourage for people to call & come to us If you have a active Warrant we can usually get it done without you going to a Big Jail like Baltimore City and Towson, PG County and few others and we can have you out in a hour or 2 if the police time permits it, have no control over them were sorry.
After calling again on the hour every hour until 10am and checking on line in the system seeing he had not been processed yet, I called Back Mrs. Johnson and let her know told her as soon as she hears something let me know.
I left and headed to Ocean City, MD with 2 good friends and street performers to relax for day and Half until Sat and was going to stay until Sunday but one of my friend's got sick and the fog was to heavy to perform , so we came back early Sat around 4pm.
While I was in Ocean City MD, Mrs. Johnson called me around 5pm Fri and let me know that Mr. Jenkin had just seen the commissioner and his Bond is $6,500 for this Bond 10 percent is $650, I verified real quick always do and then called her Back let her know that it is $6,500 bond.
Mrs. Johnson and Mr. Jenkins booth have been going through a hard time and unfortuntly receave checks but do not have employment and they do have kid's togther.
Because of this & I feel booth Mrs. Johnson and Mr. Jenkin are good people I worked out a deal with Mrs Johnson by getting another Co Signer and Holding the title of a car until the Bond is exonerated but allowing them to still have the car, i do this alot unlike other Bond companies they will hold you property, not J24BAIL we work off trust with our client's.
The deal that was giving is extraordinary and no other Bondsman would offer her this or even take payment's $250 down remainder owed is $400 being there paid every 2 weeks, every week for 4 weeks straight they will pay J24BAIL $100 dollars at no Interest.
Because I am the Owner JaY & I do make judgment calls and had I forced the full $650 it would of hurt them and most likely would cause problems if the rents not paid for them to lose there place & force me to revoke the Bond.
I do not want that and My Bail Bond Business is not out to Hurt people but help people and we do what we can to make it as easy fast swift and friendly as possible.
Because I was in Ocean City, I could not do the Bond myself, I faxed the app and dispatched one of my agents to Indemnitor's house to help with paper work , make sure everything is correct and while do so the whole time I stayed on the phone and walked booth My New Agent and the Indemnitor through the Process and answered any and all ?s then finally had the receipt filled out and signed for receiving collateral of the title to the car. Mrs. Johnson was highly impressed and very thankful that I stayed on the phone and walked booth the agent and Indim through the process and was not bing bam fill it out pay us were done but instead we spent almost 2 hours going through it step by step once everything was finalized I called my agent's closest to Baltimore City and dispatched them to get Bond done, unfortunately the closest one was by Montgomery at that moment my Baltimore City agent was in PG county doing a Bond for the Surety.
Because traffic was very bad and bumper to bumper Easter Weekend
I called my surety asked if they had closer agent they did and dispatched him, but he was in Glen Burnie and it still took him few hours to get to the city, Mr.s Johnson was notified of this and she had no problem with it. at 9:30pm his Bond was Posted and at 3:30am he was Released
another part of the conditions of the Bond is J24BAIL will require for Mr. Jenkin to go out and find work it can be a temp agency, and he has to check in one time every Friday and call me Personally from land line.
I was going to meet with Mr.s Johnson and Mr. Jenkins on Sat but being hes probably tired and wore out and it is Easter weekend, I let Mr. Johnson know we will catch up Monday to finalize the paper work go over conditions and get a Picture of the Defendant and told her to have a Wonderful Easter .

One thing that has always set me apart from most people and other Bondsman is I'm not all about making the Big bucks and charging everyone for helping out. Instead I always try to go out of my way to offer a Helping Hand and Believe by doing so in future maybe they will help me out down the road. Best Example in the past, We have worked with FBI, US Marshals and many local and state police and when We go back to them there Happy to help US out or offer Information.
I'm not one of those Bondsman who believe in power trips and this is my Defendant your coming back with me and no one else, as Long as I get some verification, I turned them into local Law Enforcement I'm very happy to release my Defendant to them.
Although there have been times Ive had to override the locals to bring them back do to technicalities in Justice System in Maryland and If I had not done so would have caused another Client Bondsman a lot of trouble.
I really don't like going that route because in future if you keep good relationship with Locals in other states when you go back there Happy to help, but sometimes Unfortunately can't be avoided.
Now let me get back to my Orig post getting sidetrack , I was out for business in Towson Maryland happen to see a Beautiful girl who was thumbing on York road, The part of York she was on was not the Best of Place and I'm really glad, I came by gave her a ride, to many shady characters who wouldn't be as nice, and yes I know what your saying well you bail them out, yes I do but if I don't someone else will , she had bag, and had Hippie look to her but I'm fairly good at character and telling whose good and who's bad, Years of experience.
I had no Bad vibe with her rolled window down asked which way she was going Annapolis, MD , I told her my name she told me hers and she started telling me about why shes Hitchhiking , which happened to be for a Audition she showed me the papers and some plays she's been in and, I asked her why not the train, she said to expensive, I laughed said ahh , and she told me about how she has no DL and one of her idols Marilyn Manson this is what he did cross country and she's doing the same. I let her know im not going completly the way shes going Im heading North but happy to let you off anywhere you want and Im really sorry if you were going my way I'd be happy to give you the full ride
I ended up dropping her off at divider of 695 East and 95 south ramp with 95 north ramp and within a min of letting her out another car picked up ( I really hope she made it safely, Take it she is very Beautiful and to many Pry on that)
She was very Polite saw a bunch of change and asked if she could have it, I respect that probably 7 dollars in quatrts maybe 4, I don't know always throwing change bottom of my console, hate it in my pocket, she Thanked me and gave a majore Smile.
Before I let her out we had good chance to talk some of what we talked about was, I told her be carful hun its very Dangerous in this state and not everyone will be as nice as me, she laughed said shes just as Dangerous and can handle my self , I smilled she asked what I do I told her im Forign Incorporated Bondsman and the Owner on 2 state Company.
She smilled Big and said what Like Dog, I was yeah kinda but Believe me not as Glamorous depsite Dog ('Duane 'Dog' Chapman') is Highly reconized Bounty Hunter and at one time was a Bondsman but after a murder charge and Felon of 5 years only state allow's him to Bounty Hunt is Honolulu in Hawaii and by Law he can not be a Bondsman.
Please do Not take this the wrong way, I highly respect what Duane Lee Chapman has Done and wish I could be as big , In a Heart beat if ,I was asked to come on the show I would with a J24BAIL shirt, wink's, although putting cold steel down for water gun would be a hard decision, and I don't fully agree with religion and Bounty hunting but hay the man has been through alot and if it helps him so be it.
Then I told her its not as easy as he makes it out to be we do alot more and Believe me in Cherry Hill in Baltimore City and other areas and States, We go in we don't carry water guns with pepper spray especially when Baltimore City PD will not enter the area without a Minum of 5 Police Officers due to the fact there cars have been shot up, and in that area go at 2am see big Muscle guys holding Mac 10s theres one way in one way out a fence all the way around not for faint of heart.
We Lock and load my Team goes in Full Tactical, if you work for me your Highly Trained, hand to hand, weapon, Knives, mace, taser, Asp, hand cuff techniques and advance handcuffing, how to blend in talk to people and police, tacticle weapons, speed loading, blind shootin, handgun and shotgun in emergencies , Medical CPR and all my training is real life simulation, Example if I say were doing taser training your going get shot, if I say were doing hand cuffing today your going have some serious marks when I do the do not resist, or Mace Training, prepare to be sprayed. but I believe what I do to you you do to me and I encorage it it allows my people to get the feel of how to do it, I'm very patient and work hand on hand with them, ps no taser not at 30 bucks a pop for cartridge, I do tell them buy the cartridge and you can shoot me lol they never do ;-) .

You couldn't Imagine how many times I've had to scale fences trees, houses, scale poles like spinter cell in order to get to my defendant, bypass electric fences and get past dogs, ohh man I'm dog lover not when rover is wanting chew on me, so because I know what to expect my Training prepares you for all this but no training is complete without the true Mind Set, patients and Knowledge with reallife experiances.
Well back to orig Post and Story because of a Stranger helping me out in past with my blasted wheel locks (couldn't change a tire, they gave me a ride to local station. This opened me to helping more People out.
I'm known for giving rides to strangers, giving out change left int the Truck or buying them food to make sure it's not used for Boo's, or Drugs.
Just this past 3 Snow Blizzards, there was a guy in drive through at McDonald's only place open other then Waffle-House my fav place, wished Id known they were open, anyway poor guy was walking through the drive through he was Hefty country Boy, and extremely well built and to average user looked as though he was serial killer, kid you not.
But we don't judge, you can't in our kind of Business. Yes I was out Posting Bonds at 2am in Baltimore City about only Bondsman out in State of Emergency and the only Jail open in State Emergency good Old Baltimore City all others were closed,
I love my 4x4 anyway pulled up to the guy rolled window down told him hay man hop in we can get your food and Mine, asked him to lift his shirt and rotate then empty his Pockets on his coat and pant's for my safety he didn't ask question. After that I let him hop in cranked the Heat shook his hand told him im JaY, he told me his Name, he got his food then I asked which way he was going, poor guy ended up walking 5 miles was that starving.
I drove him back home, he Thanked me I told him my name again and gave him a card said I'm Bondsman who knows maybe you will need me maybe not and don't worry most arn't criminals I see more Traffic then anything else but if not pass it around and I do pay Re-feral fees cash. he smiled and said Thank you.
Right afterwords I hopped up to 7-11 for my fix of Caffine and another Usual hangout for me well a father and son had walked up there at this time it was snowing again extremely hard, could't almost see out of my truck windows with my wipers on high, well I asked them which way there going and do they need a ride it's not no Trouble , they were more than Pleased to get a ride, took them home 6 blocks away and passed out as Uusual a card told them my Name and Im Bondsman service all of Maryland one of the few who answers his Phone at 2am, at moment and told them if you don't need me pass the number around give your name or referal Ill pay you a Referal Fee.
I personally answer all calls and approve or disaprove all bonds through my Company, one of the perks to be the Owner and being smaller Company, But at same time can be extremly teadious and an hassle, but it's how Ive kept 3 year track record of no skipps except one Until recently Picked up same day I don't Play. and Im very un happy my track record was broken but being it was done for a friend of friend for her BF it was Bound happen.
Now there was once, I gave a girl a ride in Edgewood to supisdly her House in Pouring down rain from the Sheets to her house, before I let her in I hid my vest and weapons so it wouldn't Intimidate her , well all went ok she was polite did look like she was strung out on something most likly heroin common in Edgewood and coke, , well I looked past all that gave her the ride and then when we get to her home she didn't even get out of my truck and says Ohh shitt no ones home, I can't get in I said wait a second in firm Voice I thought you live her you don't have a key, many people Mistake me for a cop all time Because of my appearance use to be one and how I talk and sound when I'm not relaxed, she replied no not at moment and then I asked her how long have you lived her or is this a friend's house, she got upset repelied look you sound like a cop your stressing me out, I realaly don't want to answer anything , are you cop, I smiled said mam have a good night this rides over and let get out, Said in very Stern Voice then I left.
It could of well been her parents house but most likely was a friend's or a BF's she didn't act as though she was casing it more of an Ohh Crap no ones here thought they would be
Anyway I wanted no part of it did my job and good dead after refusal to talk answer my Questions.
I had bad vibe more so when I picked her up, which I already had, but afterward's I no longer wanted her in my truck being by me. Since I handle myself well I took the risk.
I like to help out hated see someone in need of help without any one trying help em.

What is Service?
"Service" or "Service of Process" is making sure the other side gets a copy of the papers you are filing (for example, a complaint). If you are starting a case, your case cannot go forward until the other side is served. Someone who is capable of serving must physically give a copy of all necessary forms to the person whom you filed a complaint against in court.
It is very important that you do this correctly. If you do not, then the court may dismiss your case. If you have an uncontested case and the other side is willing, there is a special rule to make service easier.

When Mrs Swanson first contacted 3/1/10 JaY the Owner of J24BAIL BOND's we were contacted by E-mail for a Federal Complaint and Civil Summons that needed to be served in Baltimore, MD for a MR. Colfer for the United States District Court of North Carolina, due to respect to the client and defendant J24BAIl Bonds does not release specific's of the nature of Buisness or full names other than a Process Serve needed to be done.
I contacted Mrs Swanson and went over the full details and service charges once a condition was agreed the contract was E-mailed and printed out.
We Immediately left out to do the first Service of 3 total attempts before the defendant was able to be served, unfortunately that week the defendant was gone and would not be back until Sunday, because the name giving was a possible of sure name it made tracking the defendants address harder but under further advance skip tracing techniques I was able to locate the premises of the defendant's Business and Home which happened to be the same. Valerie J. Swanson was contacted and Informed of situation with updated phone numbers Pictures of premises and new addresses, that were obtained using Advance Skip Tracing Techniques and giving to the Client at no charge and informed we would go back out Monday the 8th of march 10th .
Because of first Inspection of the Business we found that the doors were heavy and usually locked and Defendant was very cautious already knowing there were lawyer's looking to serve him, We knew that we would not be able to just walk up and serve the defendant Colfer, but instead would have to set up a meeting as a potential client in order to Serve the defendant.
First thing Monday around 11:30 am we called the defendant's Business number using advance service to make it appear as another number and business to find out if the defendant was back or not, we did not call as a process Server but called as a Potential client who wanted to set up a time and day to meet to discuss business and a contract.
An agreement was giving and time for 8pm 3/8/10, J24BAil waited for the client aka defendant to show at there business but was giving a call that time needed to be changed to 3pm for 3/9/10 because circumstances came up, Discouraged J24BAIl left and waited for tomorrow.
Because the client aka defendant now seemed to be even more cautious we at J24BAIl had to become more crafty and instead of just going with the approach of meeting at 3pm we became more crafty and used our service to show as a fake company for mailing.
j24Bail called not the defendant but an employee letting them know that a driver came by 3 times last week to serve a package but was un able to deliver and the package is certified for a Mr. Colfer only can be signed by him what day and time is best to have it delivered we can hold it for one more week before we have send it back , the time and day was giving which happened to be 3/9/10 at 2pm. The employee told j24Bail the owner would be leaving at 3pm.
Dressing up very nice and professionally using an old UPS envelope j24bail put the summons in the envelope and sealed it left and headed back for the defendants Business address , knocking on the hard door, and answering certified package for Mr. Colfer when asked who it is and holding up the package so it could be seen the door was opend by the defendant the full name was asked by j24bail and told it is a certified package are you this person when identified as the defendant the package was opened and we handed the summons to the defendant.
Originaly we were going to have him sign for it, some clients especially Lawyers like this Service.
But after talking to Mr's Swanson she said that's not necessary, on the 3rd attempt we were finally able to serve the defendant for Valerie J. Swanson on March 9th 2010.
As you can see from reading j24Bail Blog when needed to we can be very crafty in order to obtain information or serve summons, or capture and detain defendants after years of experience in Process Serving and Bail Skips aka Bounty Hunting , we have learned and developed many techniques to get the job done.
